A Moment to Stretch

Updated: 7 days ago

Sometimes the body asks for something simple.
A stretch. A breath. A little space.
We spend so much time moving from one responsibility to the next, often without noticing what we are carrying in our bodies. Tight shoulders. A clenched jaw. Shallow breathing. Fatigue we keep pushing past.
A moment to stretch can become more than movement. It can be a way of noticing.
Yes, I am tired.
Yes, I need a break.
Yes, this is where I am right now.
There is something kind about allowing the body to be where it is instead of demanding that it immediately feel different.
Sometimes we need solitude. Sometimes we need movement. Sometimes we need to step outside, lift our arms, breathe a little more deeply, and make room for ourselves again.
Not everything needs to be solved in that moment.
Sometimes it is enough to stretch, breathe, and simply notice that we are here.
