Insurance
Currently, Southern California Institute of Psychology operates as a private pay practice and does not accept insurance. This model offers greater flexibility in treatment, allowing services to be fully tailored to your needs and goals, without the constraints that insurance plans may impose, such as session limits or required diagnoses.

While insurance is not accepted at this time, options for future insurance acceptance are actively being explored. If insurance is accepted in the future, the website will be updated, and individuals will be notified directly via email or other communication.

Private pay offers several benefits, including enhanced confidentiality, as information remains between you and your therapist, without being shared with insurance providers. It also allows for a more personalized treatment plan that can evolve based on your unique needs.
Payment
Cash, check, and all major credit cards are accepted as forms of payment.

A superbill can be provided upon request for clients who wish to submit it to their insurance for out-of-network reimbursement
Cancellation Policy
If you are unable to attend a session, please cancel at least 24 hours in advance. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the session may incur a charge for the full session. Appointment reminders will also be sent, which allow you to cancel directly through the reminder. You can also cancel via the secure client portal or by sending a secure message.
Fees
​​Payment is due at the time of each session. Private Pay is accepted for services, and additional details regarding fees can be provided upon request.

Sliding Scale Available: If you’re facing financial challenges, sliding scale options may be available. Please reach out to discuss your needs and determine a rate that works for you.
